Vintage Sparklets Soda Siphon 1935-55 Seltzer Glass Wire Mesh Bar Water Bottle

Description

Here for your consideration is a very nice Vintage "Sparklet" Seltzer Bottle or a Soda Siphon.
The glass bottle is made of thick heavy glass which measures approximately 11 1/2" high X 4 1/4" diameter and
has “Made in
Czechoslovakia 3N5
” etched on its bottom.
The glass bottle is wrapped with wire mesh in a lattice pattern.
A dark red line circles the outside of the glass at about the ¾ mark.
The bottle has a two tiered chrome collar around the neck of the bottle with
“SPARKLETS
REG
US PAT OFF
” stamped on lower section of collar and
"Made in U.S.A.", "Do Not Fill Above Red Line" stamped on upper section of collar.
The screw-on Head of the Seltzer Bottle is chrome.
The pull has a firm pump action.
The Top section above the pump reads,
"Sparklets Corporation
New York
5D6.
The Inlet Valve chrome cap reads, " Use One Bulb Only", and is attached to the side of the chrome pump with a chain.
The original straw is glass and is held in-place by a rubber washer.
Overall Seltzer Bottle measures approximately 13 1/8" H x 4 1 1/4" D
and is in very good pre-owned condition:
no cracks or chips in glass -- some wear scratches on base,
wire mesh is clean and in-tact,
chrome is in good condition with some usage/handling wear -- the very top of screw-on head has surface scratches and chrome is worn to the brass (see picture 5),
the glass tube has no cracks or chips on lower end (I did not disconnect from rubber washer to inspect upper end),
the screw-on head screws on easily ----
