    Description

    Ultra-Rare Raytheon CK901 Transistor
This is a dual germanium transistor - 1959 date code
~  In excellent, original, unused condition  ~
    From the early Raytheon
    transistor line “All the Blues”
    Likely a one-of-a-kind design,
the CK901 has a glass base with 8 leads.
Its design was no doubt influenced by Raytheon's prior
    extensive vacuum tube manufacturing experience.
The CK901 was one of the Raytheon Blues line, manufactured for only a short time
in the late 1950s and made a long-standing impact on the history of transistor technology.
It represents a unique and historic contribution by one of the first major producers
    of germanium transistors.
