SS UNITED STATES LINES Irish Linen Insignia Tablecloth / New/Old Stock

This is a new/old stock Irish Linen tablecloth from "The S.S. United States Liner". This was made especially, & only for the captain's table. Condition is what makes my SS United States items stand out from the others. There were only (6) of these Irish Linen Tablecloths manufactured for the captains table on the "Big U", and I only have a couple left to sell. The weight, infinite detail, & quality are highly superior to the standard damask linen tablecloths used on the SSUS. They were to be used for the captain's table only, but evidently it was decided not to use them at all. I purchased all six Irish Linen tablecloths from 'Guernsey's Auction' in 1984, and paid a great deal of money for them. This tablecloth measures...60" x 81". Most still have the..."Made In Ireland" sticker on them.
