    Description

    This is a huge 18" long silver platter from "The SS United States Liner". This attractive silver platter was expressly made for the "Big U" by "The International Silver Company", which is stamped on the bottom along with "United States Lines". The condition is excellent, and the insignia and "Manhattan" pattern are crisp, front & center. This piece was originally purchased at the 1984 SSUS at auction in Norfolk, Virginia.
