Seychelles 50 Rupees, 2011, P-43, PMG 66

Description

The Seychelles 50 Rupee was released in 2011 by the Central Bank of Seychelles with enhanced security features. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Seychelles, the map of the nation, an angelfish, paille en queue orchids, and silver holographic sailfish. Featured on the reverse are cowrie shells, cars, the clock tower standing in Victoria, yellow-fin tuna fish, and a tiomitio bird. The 151 x 75 mm paper bill comes with a 2.5-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a turtle registration device, and a watermark that reflects a turtle. Printed by De La Rue, the banknote bears the signature of the bank governor Pierre Laporte. This particular Seychelles 50 Rupee banknote has been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
