    Description

    You are bidding on a seldom seen edition of the Ocean Press, an onboard newspaper of the S.S. United States. This four-page edition is dated Monday, October 24, 1955. Published during ship's voyage 75, westbound number 4. Contains "World Wide News of United Press, transmitted by Radiomarine Corporation of America". The newspaper measures approximately 14-1/2" height by 11-1/2" width. Page 1 is browned on the left half from top to bottom, has a slight vertical crease through the center, has a couple of small water stains at bottom left, a one inch tear at top (through all pages), and some small chips on the right edge. The interior pages are brighter. Page 4 has some browning along the left edge. Nice condition overall and very displayable. Nice time capsule of world events, events of the day aboard ship, and destinations to visit upon arrival in New York!
