This is the original tool(punch) used to stake the end of the long pinion on rear sight of M-1 rifle. Original stock #A349914
These were used to prevent loss of the type 2
or 3 lockbar & keep it in place.
This is a great addition to the Die-Hard World War II M-1 rifle collector.
