This listing is of a set of THREE historic 1942-D Sixpence coins of Australia. The 1942 6p coins had three varieties: one without a mint mark and two with mint marks ("D" and "S"). The coin with no mint mark was struck in Melbourne. The "D" coins came out of the Denver mint (represented in this lot). The "S" coins - San Francisco. Composition: 92.5% silver (Sterling).
