Harley-Davidson 61 c.i. (1,000 cc) Sixty-One FS Bigtwin riden by Lillian Hauerwas who logged over 65,000 miles on her bike

The Sixty-One on the photo featured a 61 c.i. (1,000 cc) F-head V-twin engine. The inlet valve was constructed as an overhead valve, the exhaust valve was a side valve. This so called i.o.e. (inlet over exhaust) design worked incredibly well for H-D and marked the end of the previous pocket-valve era for HD.
This is a very nice and very rare photo that reflects a wonderful era of Harley ‘s motorcycle history in a wonderful way. This is your rare chance to own this photo, therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 8" x 9.5" (ca. 20 x 25 cm). It makes it perfectly suitable for framing!
