    A superb and rare photo of the
    Clement factory.
    The French
    Clement
    factory started out producing cars in 1901, followed by motorcycles in 1902. The Clement factory became known for their early racing bikes, like the V-twin shown in the photograph. Clement also build the very first four cylinder racing bike, but this could not prevent the factory from closing down in 1925.
