Amazing Caldas Da Rainha Palissy Majolica Decorative Crab Plate

Description

This palissy majolica plate with 3-D realistic crab and mussel shells is in excellent condition and is glazed with very realistic colors.
It is quite large--about 12-1/2 inches in diameter.  It is also quite heavy, but is equipped with a sturdy wire hanger.
The imprint on the back is not clear but I was able to make out the words "Da Rainha" so am quite sure it is Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal.
This would be perfect in a seaside vacation cottage or, if you happen to own a seafood restaurant, even better!
Great conversation piece.
Just now I noticed a tiny bit of vegetation missing (photo #7), but it is not at all noticeable on display.  Nevertheless, I have reduced the price accordingly.
