Description

This is a brand new front dash speaker. This speaker will fit 1963, 1964, & 1965 Buick LeSabre, Invicta, Wildcat, and Electra 225 models. This is a very nice speaker. This speaker fits properly which means it is the right overall height/thickness (so it does not hit anything behind the dash). Most of the speakers out there are made too thick and they hit the heater control mechanism, dash switches, and/or radio depending on your model and year.
This speaker achieves this very minimal thickness by using high energy neodymium (NEO) magnet. NEO magnets are 1/10 the size of ceramic magnets (used on most aftermarket speakers) and these NEO magnets are 10 times the strength of the ceramic magnets. This is an 8-10 ohm speaker which is what you need when using an original radio (to prevent from damaging the radio). This speaker can also be used with aftermarket radios and radios that have been converted. Lastly the original speaker had the wire pig tail soldered directly onto the speaker, you will need to cut this pig tail off and crimp on the 2 spade terminals which are included.
